well i finally got around to dusting off the calculator and did my tire size equation to set my speedo right...i have 315/70/17s and i came up with 2741.9mm....my question is i put this in and my edge and gps are dead on with eachother but my speedo now reads 2-3 mph faster than the gps and edge....do i have problem with my cluster?
ok, so is yours like that as well? i also noticed when i went back to the menu after entering the new tire size if i looked back at the tire size again it increases it by 3-4 mm....hard to explain but i enter it, exit that screen, and go back to the tire size it has added a few more mm's....
there is a way to reset the needles. What you do is pull the right wire bundle on top of the cluster. then plug it back in. this will make all the needles "shake" as its trying to reset themselves. then they will all reset to their supposed 0 mark.
I haven't had that issue with adding mm to the tire size. I would return the truck to stock. Check for updates with the software. Then try again. If it still happens I would be called tech support.
