Morning all. Happy turkey day! I'm running bilstiens 5100 adjustable coil overs up front with 2" of lift. 2009 f150SC 4x4 Looking to put tires on my stock rims. Looking at 285/70r17's & 295/70r17's Is this as large as I can run on stock rims I think?
Thanks. About what I figured. Not planing on running anything bigger. I will step up to newer and wider rims in spring after taxes.
You can tuck 295s just fine on stock wheels. The biggest you can fit with a 2" level would be 315/70R17s, or whatever the metric equivalent of 35x12.5 for your rim would be. You might need to trim the front valance (plastic under the bumper) and make sure that it's not a super aggressive mud tread. Otherwise the lugs could rub on the a-arm while making tight turns.
Thanks! For the replys. Not new to wheeling mods lifts etc. had an old 79 bronco 351m with 6" lift and 37 also and ram 1500, f350 jeep JK and now this 150. Got it used with 45k in may and just now getting to mods. Ill post pics as soon as I put tires on. Also have fabtec 4 tab light bar on with 2 8" KC rally's HID 50w long range
Yeah dude 35s is much bigger that's why i think its not much helpful for you just adjust the size of the tire which is easily adjustable of the rim of that ford...
