Na the carriers should be extremely close to the same dimensions and the pinion gear never changed so theoretically it shouldn't need to be re shimmed.. Of course I did this hoping I was right but everything seemed to line up great.. Got about 100 miles on it now no noises or any issues of any kinds.. I'd be willing to bet its within the allowed tolerances I mean how much could have really changed??? I doubt ford checks every rear end they probably have preset shims they use for certain gear sets.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
With the LS it's a beast.. My buddy was spinning in his z71 a lot more than I was.. I got some gopro video of us in the woods but haven't had time to edit or upload it.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I really expected it to fail.. I only took it to see if they checked for the cat.. I figured if they didn't then it would just fail and I'd pull the spout and take it back to see of it would pass.. I about dropped my jaw when he said everything passed lmao Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bronco has been doing awesome since the newest trans rebuild and the new rear end.. I put her to work the last couple days in the snow.. Probably pulled out 20 cars Wednesday and Thursday.. Pulled everything out from a new Lexus to a hummer.. The only one I tried to get out I couldn't was an s10 he was wedged down in the ditch pretty good I just kept breaking the rope I was using so we decided his best bet was to just call a wrecker.. And of course I had to go play in it a little too lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I damn sure love mine.. I'm glad I didn't give up on it.. I might have way more money in it now than it's worth but it's a beast now.. And it's gonna be even better once I'm done with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
