I'm just using my gf's car until I can get this fixed because I work overnights. But not another personal vehicle so I'm really leaning towards just takin it to aamco... I can't decide lol :banghead:

They basically build the tranny when you order it, they aren't already made. Then theres a waiting list of trannys waiting to get built. Thats what takes them forever, and for $295 you get moved to the front of the line!! Lol ill probably just take it to aamco so I can have my truck back, and it'll save me some $$$$ and time.

Edit: Yup just called aamco, I'm dropping it off tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys, even though I'm doin this the easy way lol

Make sure to have them price out more beefed up parts before the build.. Don't want them to put it together with stock stuff and then charge again to pull apar and beef up stuff

Yeah he's going to call me when he's got it apart and let me have the rundown of what he's got in mind. I'm probably going to have him make it stronger if he can just for peace of mind.

Supposed to be driving my truck right now... well got a phone call after he test drove it and the store gave them the wrong ring gear. Speedo would shoot up to 60-70 when first taking off and immediately jump from first to overdrive. Now they are taking it back apart and reassembling it with the right ring gear. Tuesday morning is when it should be ready... guess we'll wait and find out.
