I like the dashh pod better because I don't check the rear view much. I like the green gauge.

Just found this... Which I think I'll get instead lol. I'm not sure how long the sending unit is for the temp gauges for mounting on the roof, though I was leaning that way.

I'm leaning towards blue for color, I was thinking green would match the dash lights, but then I remembered I don't like the dash lights :jester: I think I'll get the coolant temp gauge also, just so I can have the 2 temps mounted in the same place.

If I mounted my edge where everyone else did it might, but I have mine in my dash. I'll take a pic.

*edit* Camera is dead, but it's basically sitting right in front of the tach and is held on with some velcro. I wanted it out of the way and didn't want to spend $40 on the pod. :Grenade:

Just ordered the Mag-Hytec pan from 4WheelParts.

And the Water and Transmission Temp gauges from SummitRacing.

Also won the A-Pillar on eBay for $15! so now we play the waiting game.....:hidesbehindsofa:

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
Very nice score on the A-pillars. Make sure to do an Install How-To for everyone that's interested in wiring up gauges as well. Where did you find that Roof, Over the mirror gauge setup? Was it for our models or just one you found?

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked to have everything coming in. Now just to get the tranny lol. I'll definitely be taking pics of the whole thing.

The overhead gauges I found at Jegs, they're for the 99-04 superduties...

Hey what i have learn is on a ford... never use second gear.. because sometimes they resort to taking off in second gear.. the only time you should use second gear is if you are driving in first gear needing second gear.. if you are stopped and put it in second... it will usually try to take off in second.. so if you are trying to pull someone out you are going to heat that thing up quick and be burning up clutchs..

If you have time and concrete floor to Swap out the trans .. I would do that in a heart beat.. Also if you get a used one.. try not to turn the trans over that will take any trash that is in it and put it places you dont want it.. Also while you got it be sure to check the flywheel for cracking or bad spots
