Truck doesn't start, can't figure this one out!

    Interesting. i never thought of that one! I'm sure it'll give me a fit tomorrow so it looks like I'll be trying that, and if it turns out to be a fuel issue then I'll rent a pressure gauge just to be sure.

    Fuel pumps in these trucks are easy to change. I have a write up on here if you need it.

    Yeah I've done one on a 2003 Scab in my Auto class that was relatively painless. But if I do need it, I'll come to you.

    Ive learned over the years that each auto maker makes some things easy and others a PITA. If they all put their heads together when making a new vehicle, the actual shadetree mechanic would still be able to work on them....:jester:

    yeah the pumps on these are easy. When I was a tech I did a 01 supercab in 8 minutes and 32 seconds on a lift with air tools, boss told me I had to get it done before I left and I was already late. Ford did something smart and made the fuel pump bolt in instead of using a lock ring which never go back in easily.
