Truck running off battery

    could be the cylinoid.....if its bad it wont show i dont think....:hmm:

    yup...the nite did that to me...it was bad and it kept draining my system...i replaced it and problem solved.....i did alot of little things like that to it and never posted it...didnt figure it was worth mentioning at the time

    I bought the truck fro a guy who had it sitting within the last year he has replaced the starter alternator and battery. My first assumption was battery so I replaced it under warranty last week and its still doing the same thing

    So check wiring, voltage, and starter solenoid?

    yup. if you do the test i listed above youll be able to narrow it down and its simple to do. should only take you about 15 minutes to do it. if you have a voltmeter. you may need someone to help you read the meter though if you dont have a pair of jumper leads.

    yup...starter cylinoid, voltage regulator, and start the truck and pull the hot cable off the battery while its running and see if it dies...that would tell us more than anything...or atleast eliminate the battery all togetrher....do that and let us know...
