There is a tsb for your injectors. Once I find it I'll post it. It's a extended warranty. Don't let a stealership fug you.

If your truck is idling at a 1000 rpm clean throttle body. It might be fugged up aswell. You might have to replace it. But clean it first.

For rattle on start up if your using a fram or any offbrand oil filter switch it to motorcraft asap. It will fix your morning knocks.

The PVC valve is def different from a 97-03 model. Will not be the same.

Well guess I was wrng. I thought it was a 04-06 problem. It's just certain 05 models. Sorry bout that man. I still wouldn't hesitate to get them looked at cause there is still reports of the 04 injectors messin up.

Have the dealer pull the CEL codes too. That should give you part of the problem as well. Napa or Advanced or someplace should be able to do it also.

I hate I missed this thread. There is absolutely no need to replace a coil pack if there's nothing wrong with it. Your pissing in the wind throwing away good cop's. As far as what's wrong with your truck it can be a number of things but I would check each cop and injectors first since you just changed the plugs.

Ford recommends changing plugs and coils at 100,000 miles. So I always change both so I don't have to worry about the headache later on trying to figure out what screwed my truck then to find out it was a gd coil. Lol but to each there own.
