Nothing wrong with a new truck I don't blame ya, I just have gotten so accustomed to having that extra money in my pocket again. In my case I'd probably drop the money on the repairs, but like I say that's me. New car fever is very contagious. I've caught myself debating whether or not I want that "extra" money in my pocket every month while standing there on a car lot looking. Happened to me about 4 months ago and coming across a new FX2 to be exact. :jester:

Sweet...now every time I'm leaving a stop light something slips and clunks. I'm so unbelievably sick of this pile of **** falling apart every time it leaves my driveway.

What shop are you taking it to?

That sounds like a U-joint or something in your driveline

Been using Ace auto because it's close to my house. They've worked on my truck, my dads F350, and our '76 F250.

Oh, and to elaborate more...It's not a slip, clunk, go. The truck will start moving, accelerate a little bit, slip, clunk, grabs and goes, then repeat the process a second or two later. It's not as bad today as it was a couple days ago, but it's still happening. I tightened the u-bolts after it first happened, by the way.

To sum it up...normal...normal, clunk...normal...normal...clunk....back to normal.
