yeah your not getting 10k for your truck. People think lifts add value to trucks. it doesn't. I think it's funny on craigslist you can see all these shitty chevy and ford trucks but they have a lift on it so the owners want $4k+ for them. You can invest all the money you want into your truck and it may be worth 10k to you, but not to other people.

after i lifted it i realized lifted trucks and big tires really arent for me, right now at least driving as much as i do. that and its a 97 and i want to get something else before it starts being a problem. but then again i want to make sure im not just picking up someone elses trash so im gonna try to be smart about it and make a wise financial decision lol. i never really have a plan, i could keep it for a few more years, i never know lol
