I agree with West here. If your driving the gas saver, then you wont be putting wear and tear on the black one.
If you plan on living on campus I wouldn't spend too much on a truck. I'd find me a reliable cheap truck if you're not willing to drive your own.
i honestly dont even know. maybe 8-900 for tires, 250-300 for rims and 150-200 for lift. i havent really thought about it though
if you are living on campus you would have a short daily commute and gas would not be so bad or you could just get a second car, i gave $800 for my two door escort and i'm 6'5" 300lb, but it gets 35 mpg and will pay for itself in a year in gas alone, plus by the time we switched around my insurance, putting my mom as the "driver" on my truck and my car for liability, the two vehicles cost $1 more per month than the truck alone under me
the only thing is. this isnt strictly for college. ive got 2 quick years left and im out in the world on my own and its still gonna need to be a solid vehicle then too, and for a few years after that as well. ill either find somethin else or take the lift off mine or somethin but its gonna be what i think would be best combined with what i pick up on the forum over the next few months. im not gonna jump in without thinkin it through and all. im tryin to be smart with all my decisions as opposed to my first 19.5 years on this earth haha
ok, so when you finish school, and get a "real" career, get your feet underneath you, then get a nice vehicle, thats my plan, after i get my degree and get to makin good money then i'm gonna treat myself to a "new" vehicle, wont be brand new, but less than 4 yrs old and under 50k miles
oh no doubt! hopefully mines gonna be brand new. but nobody can tell how the economy is gonna be when i get out and i may have to work at taco bell or something and ill still be driving my decision i make right now so i want it to be a good one lol
yea thats my worry too, i go to school for 4+ years and can't get a job, great hopefully electrical engineering will lead me somewhere good
thats got a good future with all the electronics that run this world. i was in civil engineering but im not cut out for that kind of work. im majoring in plant science now lol screw: yea i could do that. ive gotten like 4 emails since i put it up like 2 hours ago so im gonna see if i can sell it as is right now. if nothin comes up il end up seperatin it all.
