    Ended up painting them with niteshades. I feel like if I didn't the blinker bowl would pop out like a sore thumb and I'd regret it

    yeah, to be honest I painted mine accidentally at first but I'm glad I did. The regular bulbs can be seen fine when they are on and the switchbacks don't even need it to be honest my friend Jake has his painted white and they work fine.

    dielawn, mine are painted black. even with a smoked lense they were still bright...just not as bright as a clear lense. the siwtch back relies less on the chrome reflector (though it does help some) and more on the output of the LED itself. its like those strip LEDs like J Wal has on a surface, it doesnt matter if its black, white, yellow, blue, red....it will still be bright.

    Sweet, I just love the way my switchbacks look that's why I went with a 5k with the FXR

    Finishing it up tonight. Still have to get the old adhesive out of the headlights. This crap is IN there

    Oh shat... Waiting for adhesive to dry

    Cut off line isn't perfect because that one projector is slightly crooked but overall I'm still proud of myself being my first retrofit :peace: took 5 days doing it after work.
