Yeah 2.5" from what I read there's no difference in output between 2.5" and 3" so I just went smaller

Correct output is the same. They make a larger lens for larger lamps. I'll be running a 3".

And if I were you, I'd rip them open and fix that. I would t spend that much time just for it to be off. But that's me.

^^ maybe later down the road. i made sure those lights were SEALED thus lots and lots of rtv and sealer... haha

anyways i need some help guys, i'm pretty sure my 2 cats are shot. they rattle on cold starts and every now and then when i get on it. is it possible?

also this just started 2 days ago but i noticed when i did get on it that the whole truck started to vibrate just slightly. i don't think it's tire related since i just got the wheels put on a month ago so they're pretty balanced. plugs haven't been changed and it has 109k could it be related to that? what are some things i should start checking? i'm not too good with troubleshooting.

also my brake pedal rattles at highway speeds. and it squeaks when i press them lmao, anything i could adjust to stop this?

Our local shop has pressure testing in front of
and after the cats for free.

Reckon the bushing for the brake pedal is worn?

i'm gonna ask around about that. if they are bad i'll cut them out myself and put in hi flows. that's what it sounds like. pressing it slowly it creaks,

I would bet the shaking is from your plugs. Get some codes read, you could have a bad cop also. Amazon has great deals on all that stuff.

    sent from my igloo

    Coil pack vs COP,
It made a great difference in the way my 3.0
ran when I changed the coil pack.

Maybe one of them COP is firing flaky but not
    enough to trigger the CEL.

A lot of people will drive with the
    CEL on until engine meltdown.

the rattling is definitely cats. the vibration could be you hitting the gas, dumping fuel but not being able to exhaust that extra amount since your cats are gettin thick, almost causing a stall, but the truck fights through it like a good girl and you roll on. new plugs would definitely help against that, and if you think the COP are goin, I would definitely replace them. Remember when I had that one BLOW UP on me driving down the road? luckily I was a few miles from the house, but it sucked. lemme dig for that pic on PB...

wow its not on there. and i think i didnt have this phone at that time. but trust me, you dont want to have that COP blow while you are truckin down the highway.

sidenote: whens the Rents movin up north?
