    and of course it starts to rain as i take my door panel off... i miss my 97, you can take the mirror off by popping off the tiny corner piece... not the whole damn door panel like this.
    can't fit in my "normal" garage so it'll have to wait. supposed to rain all day tomorrow as well :banghead:

    black. went a little darker on the reflectors than i planned lol

    Don't they have a retro kit to replace
    that reflector with a LED light yet?

    Read some threads where they custom put led strips
    into the back of the reflectors but it was labor intensive
    getting the mirror off and taking the housing apart to gain
    access to the back of the reflector strip.

    Then they cut a rectangle opening out of the back of the reflector,
    mounted a strip led in there and ran the wires thru the factory wire
    holes where it mounts to the door.

    Of course connecting those wires to the parking lights and
    like I did on the Ranger wiring a relay so it goes off when the
    turn signal comes on.

    Looks like a big PITA just to have led in the non led mirrors
    but eh, it's what they did to make it work instead of spending
    the cash to get factory led signal mirrors.

    i could have done that but i'd rather just get the mirrors so i have a factory look versus a hacked up DIY job lol
