Anybody ever used vht niteshade? I'm thinking about using it on my tails and corners lights and I'm wondering if a 10oz can will cover it? I'm also worried at to wether or not the niteshade tint will be too much and overpower my strobe lights. Anyone know anything about that? Any and all help is much appreciated! Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum I didn't really know where to put it.
Yes this is the right spot for it.... and ive never used any of the VHT , ive used the rustoleum brand and it didnt take much at all , so a 10oz can should be plenty... as for the strobes , im sure it will kind of make them dull and not show up much
Is 10oz the normal size spray can size? I can't remember, but if so you should have more then enough man.
yea bro i bought two cans of it and had plenty left from the first to do like my corners so one cans plenty just dont go over 3 coats i did mine and they are plenty dark IMO
I'm worried about the strobes still though... What if it's too dark I'll have to buy replacement lights...
ya it'll be good, my friend did his f250's tail lights hand still has plenty left, I still gotta steal that can from him and do mine, just make sure you get a good clearcoat. O ya and I don't think it's gona do to well with the strobes but I have no idea
Damn now here comes the big question... Is the look of the blacked out tail lights and corners worth not having strives anymore?
nah man lots of people have tinted tails, how many people have strobes? I know one guy with em and my friend with the 250 is puttin some in his
