so its yet another beautiful day outside so im trying to find things to do on the truck. i pulled the dirvers side fog light assy. out because it had condensation on the inside of the lens. when i pulled it out i looked inside and fought a **** ton of water sitting in there. i dumped it all out and it was mettalic...kind of odd. Could it be from the tip of the light? Anyways, thats not my question. my question is how the eff am is water getting inside there? the casing is sealed pretty tightly. any thoughts?
The metallic is probably from the reflector. Been there and done that. Water could be getting in around the bulb seal, through the connector (and I mean physically through the connector) or the main lens seal itself.
alright ill have to take a better look at it then. the seal around the assy. looks nice and tight but i could be wrong. ill check the around the bulb too. thanks guys.
