I picked up a first generation Weatherguard 116-5 for $40 off craigslist and decided to up my toolbox game. Since these typically retail for $800 and up, I felt like I was getting a good deal. After getting it home, I'm glad I didn't pay more. The top corners were totally rusted out, a lot of the powdercoat was peeling, and it was well used. I think it was owned by a sheetrocker judging by the tools and rust I found. Thankfully I have a cheap welder and got some patch panels cutout out 14g steel. I also painted the entire thing in rustoleum rusty metal primer after grinding it down, then painted the inside white, outside black, and the the top lid and front in herculiner.
