Well guys, I didnt get much sleep last night and had to get up this morning to take my 8 week old puppy to the vet, so I put Bow (the pup) and gunner ( one year old) in the truck and headed out. Well the pup was acting like he needed to poop so I stopped on the side of the road, stood in the rain for 5 min and no poopin puppy. So we get back in the truck, get about 2 miles down the road and he started to poo again, so I looked down to put him in the floor board and when I looked up I was missing the turn in the road and me, the dogs and the truck were dropping off into a 4' tall ditch. I slammed on the breaks but it was too late. we slid on down to the bottom. Luckily I was about 2 foot to the left of a storm culvert that would have crushed the back passenger side of my truck. Well I get out, call someone to come get my dogs and then decide, even with my balled tires, and 2 ditches that cross with the truck sitting right over them, I would try and drive out. So I told the dogs to hold on, put the F-150 in 4 low and eased off the brake. ............................ I was shocked, with it raining, in a 4' deep ditch, balled tires and climbing out of a another ditch between a fence and a road sign, I walked right out, no spinning or anything. Someone was asking about Wrangler A/T. They aint no mud tires but they do frakin great! Where I entered the ditch Its hard to tell from the photo but its about 4 feet down. So I get to the vet with both pups. feeling good about getting out. I have been noticing something just wasnt right with the puppy, so I told my vet he acted strange. I was hoping it wasnt something that couldnt be fixed but I found out it was. My 8 week old has cataracts in both eyes and he is all but totally blind. With him having them from birth even if I had them removed his eyes would not be able to focus because he have not ever used that muscle. So that has ruined my day, but atleast the F-150 is a bad ass! lol
Also there was alot of small brush and my bumper hit the rock bedding of the ditch, that Line-X did great!
Aww that's sad I know that puppy is in good hands I had a beautiful pit mix she was so cute and some mofo poured a cup of the acid we use to clean the milk lines on her and the vet was talking high dollar surgery that we couldn't afford. So we had to put her down she wasn't even a year old. I feel bad for the person who did it if I ever find out who it was. But I still have 2 great dogs the brown and white one is an escape artist lol
