I was bored and decided to do a 180 in a parking lot. Something I do everyday, no big deal. Well the thin layer of snow on top of the ice made things ten times worse and I clipped a pole. Hit it with my rear bumper and just the last edge/end of the bed. Damn fiberglass just about fell apart. Bumper bent, bumper pad broke. Amazing because it was such a small impact. If it had been metal the damage would have been so much less I think. Too bad there's no wrecked trucks up here to get a bedside from. I don't even want to know how much this is gonna cost. So much for getting a new motorcycle this spring. :(:( Pics to come whenever I finally decide to go home. I've never been so upset or pissed before.

I know I know...my own fault. I'm just amazed that such a minor hit caused this amount of damage. ****ing fiberglass. Gonna go get a quote for the glass work tomorrow. Gonna find out if it's repairable or if the whole panel needs to be replaced. Then to decide if I want to pay it out of pocket or deal with the insurance nonsense.

damn dude lol not the brightest idea but it happens to all of us. **** when i was 19 i backed out of my garage way too fast and ened up smashing the hell out of my moms jeep. the whole passenger side was gone on her jeep haha the plastic step on the top of my bumper broke off, my tail light had a chip in it and i had a dent in the rear driver side panel. not much damage but it cost a little bit of money to get that whole side panel replaced.

**** happens man, now youll know not to do donuts near a pole again:jester:
