the truck either shot a plug or puked a coil. drivin down the road about 60. all of a sudden it started shudderin and the CEL was flickerin. texted a few reliable members of the forum (metro and bigun) and found out it was probably a coil. so i limped it down to autozone a few miles down the road. got my codes ran for the first time in quite a while. it turns out i have 4. EGR valve, two O2 sensors, and a misfire cyl 4. as much as id rather do this fix myself, but between school and work i wont have time until saturday. so im callin the mechanic tomorrow and hopefully i can drop it off while im at school thursday and pick it up on the way to work. i said it, what, 2 days ago? "knock on wood my truck will never blow a plug". looks like i jinxed myself
You would do what I almost did...haha I was set on using a tap to chase the threads until I talked to West and Twin.
i woulda done the same thing. ryan got me straight. i texted dustin and he was like nope! never happened to me b4! gee your a lot of help hahahhaha
