I need to replace the stock brakes and am having trouble finding new ones for a decent price.

I need front/rear rotors and front/rear pads, for my 7-lug...

If possible, I need to stay close to $400 total, including shipping. If anyone has some links or a favorite brand, post up.

I also use mid grade o reillys parts. They have a lifetime warranty so when they go bad, I bring em in and get my money back. Free brakes bro.

I'm looking at that, but it's going to be $480 for the cheap rotors/pads from them...

I finally did my brakes in September. I just used the standard Napa ones with the mid-level pads. I wanted nicer ones, but couldn't justify paying for them and then letting everything sit for 3 years.

My rear rotors were a pain to take off. Super tight fit and I think the parking brake was dragging some also.

Mid grade pads are fine, I've been using them for years. They stop, they don't squeal and as long as they don't create huge amounts of dust, I'm okay with them. Trucks are trucks, they're not high performance road ripping beasts, (yes, I'm aware there are high performance trucks, I'm talking the majority) they just need to stop and stop in a timely manner :jester:

That was my thinking also. I wasn't going to get the super cheap chinese ones since my curb weight is 6800lbs, but I'm not autocrossing either :jester:

I've been using AutoZone's mid grade (can't remember the actual name) since the factory ones wore out way back when. So to be honest, I've only paid for brakes two times. Once for the front and of course, once for the rear. Got to love AZ's "Lifetime Warranty" :jester:
