My driver side rear cat has decided it like to rattle far too loud far too often and I was curious what may have caused this and what cat to put on there? I dont want to cut them off or gut them because thats just too loud for me so what are my options that yall have experience with?

The Magnaflow universal are your best bet. They're the cheapest also.

First find out if its internal or external. Alot of time the heat shields on the outside spot welds break an the the shields rattle vs internal honey comb cracks

naww..... just get some longtubes, then run a single cat on each side, and 2.5" pipe all the way back to a dual in/out 18" magnaflow and put on some 3.5" tips :rocking:

    like danny said.

check the heat shields around the cats. mine rattled like crazy. put some muffler strapping around the heat shield and tightened it. worked like a charm.

Its not the heat shield. That was my first thought too. If i take my gloved hand and press on the bare side of the cat the rattle is deadened but is still audible and if i put pressure on the heat shield nothing changes at all. could it still be the heat shield? Could i replace just one and be ok or should I change the other out as well?
