It is a series of f150, some were made for work trucks, and they handled a bigger payload. Therefore, I think the torsion bars my go a little higher, and should stand more strength.

Waiting tell I move back to fl and I wanna have all the parts b4 I start and where I live now I don't have the right stuff to tackle this project my father in law has a big machine shop in fl so ima do it there
It is crazy but glad if broke there then goin down the road then id be fixing lot more then a t-bar if that's what it turns out to be
The torsion bars breaking while sitting is a common problem for the 97-98 F150, Ford had a tsb on it and fixed the problem 99+... this happened to my buddy, and several other people I read about on the forums, while the truck was sitting! Haha weird!... don't get the bars out of a 97-98 from the yards haha
