I thought straights cut down on performance because lack of backpressure or some bs

It cuts down on torque yes. Thats why i left my cats, but true straights will hurt it a little. How much exactly is up for debate

If i was just starting out i wouldn't go straight duals all the way. Just cut off the muffler, run duals back to like...4" tips. Nothing over the top but it'll sound sweet. and electric cutouts are like...a y-pipe device that runs one outlet of it to the full exhaust system, or closes that side and dumps out wherever its at in the exhaust. Hard to explain.....lol

thanks man so for the cutouts you have a switch to open her up and let her roar and and to close it up and let her humm....? is there any advantage besides the sound?

I read through it and listened to the videos they seem pretty cool. sorry for all the questions I know almost nothing about exhaust

yeah its just a switched wired inside. I think that cutouts will increase top end hp but will take away from low end torque
