What is this noise???!!!!

    def the tensioners wore out , my 5.4 done this in my scab i had , costed $700 to fix it :jawdrop:

    I can get all new chains tensioner a an guides for $160. Then a day of work to replace shouldn't be bad

    its a pita to do it , gotta pull valve covers and all!

    yep except mine was a little louder , sounded like a rod knockin kinda

    I read you can get away with just timing cover, basically not very hard just time consuming. Did you need the cam tools?

    Yea but that's not always a fix for those, read that some of those replaced doesn't change the tick
