I am new to the site and am lowering the back end of my truck with two inch drop shackles. What shocks would I use to do so? Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry for such little info. I am at work using my phone and its very annoying. :p

You can go with any factory sized shock if you only plan on just dropping the back with the 2" shackles. Possibly a Bilstein shock for a quality ride, but there's no need to replace unless you just want to when installing the drop shackles. Your current shocks will be no where close to bottoming out.

I need to replace them anyways so I didn't know if I would need a shorter one or not.

Unless you plan on eventually dropping the rear end a couple of more inches, you'll be okay with factory spec shocks. :waytogo: I'd go Bilstein if I were you.

    Welcome aboard by the way.

i think the Ford Lightning spec rear shocks from Bilstein are about what you would be looking for. They are an inch or two shorter, due to the Lightnings sit a bit lower iirc.
