    2002 5.4L Supercharger Install

    5.4L Supercharger Installation Procedure

    To Install:

    1.Install the CAC.

    2.Install a new gasket.

    3.Install the new bolts.

    4.Install the upper intake manifold.

    5.Install the upper intake manifold and the four rear bolts loosely.

    6.Install the CAC hoses.

    7.Install a new gasket.

    8.Install the vacuum hose.

    9.Install a new gasket and install the supercharger and plenum assembly, bolts, and the stud bolts. Tighten the retainers in two steps, in the sequence shown.
    • Step 1: Tighten to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
    • Step 2: Tighten 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
    10.Install the two upper vacuum hoses to the supercharger bypass valve actuator.

    11.Install the EGR vacuum regulator bracket and install the nuts.

    12.Position the bracket and install the nuts.

    13.Position the CAC water supply and return tubes and install the nuts.

    14.Install the CAC hoses and the clamps.

    15.Fill the CAC cooling system.

    16.Install the accessory drive belt.

    ***WARNING***
    The throttle body spacer sealing surfaces are soft metals. Carefully clean both sealing surfaces.

    ***NOTE***
    Inspect the throttle body spacer gasket and install a new gasket if necessary.


    17.Install a new gasket and install the throttle body spacer.

    18.Tighten the bolts in two steps.
    • Step 1: Tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
    • Step 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
    19.Connect the vacuum lines.

    20.Connect the brake booster vacuum line.

    21.Connect the vacuum line.

    22.Install the bracket bolt.

    23.Connect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve.

    24.Connect the vacuum line.

    25.Connect the EGR vacuum tube fitting.

    26.Install the accelerator cable bracket and install the three bolts.


    ***NOTE***
    Pay attention to the throttle return spring orientation. It must be reinstalled in the correct orientation.


    27.Connect the throttle control linkages.

    28.Connect the speed control actuator cable.

    29.Connect the accelerator cable.

    30.Install the throttle return spring to the throttle lever.

    31.Connect the vacuum lines and the vent hose.

    32.Connect the idle air control electrical connector.

    33.Connect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.

    34.Install the air cleaner outlet tube.

    35.Connect the battery ground cable

    wow. thats the easiest instrictions ive ever read. paired with pics i think an 8 yr old could do it

    So how should I do this? should I just amke a new thread and have someone sticky it or do you guys wanna just copy and paste?
