so does this mean that the unit could be fried? or is it just possible that it is hot...im just gettin pissed at the idea of it being fried seems how it cost me a good chunk of change
yea i have one but never had a problem and my front windows dont have any tint...same with my buddy..call edge maybe or look there site and see if theres anythin bout em doing that
ok will do that...was only 90 here today...this did this a couple weeks ago and i thought maybe it was hot but it went away in a few minutes...ggrrrr
if it ends up being the display send it and the cable to them and a check or credit card for 99 and youll get a new one
dood its probably just hot. i have an edge but i don't have it up in the window just for the reason that you are having problems. mine is way down in the dash so that it doesn't get direct sunlight or get too hot. that being said, let it cool down and try it then. it would be my guess also make sure you don't have a loose connection. good luck
