    Haha plan to, I hate that gold ****.. You guys think the paint will be okay behind it though?? remember the paint was really oxidized when I got it.. I dont know how good of shape the paint is in to be honest..

    The paint is going to look brand new behind the stripes. Unless you got the paint looking almost new by removing the oxidation, then I would not remove them because you will see where they used to be.

    TLS go to autozone and buy a pack of those plastic push pins and take your flaps off and push those in. It will make it look good. My buddy did the same thing when he took off his mud flaps on a truck just like yours.

    Good idea west.. Ill prob end up doing that untill I paint them..

    Damn.. IDK about those stripes.. I got the paint looking pretty good I think but id hate to have bright red strips in place of the pin strip..

    Thanks man.. Yeah im glad I did it.. Install was easy as hell like you said, the only issue was I wasnt sure which way they were suppose to face so I just put em on with the open end facing the springs.. They seem to be alright so I guess that was right..

    Take the stripe off....you can blend it once its off. Not a big deal.

    Next big project for me is pulling the dash for paint and installing a new heater core...fun fun
