Which headlights?

I found out tonight that the OEM housings have some sort of coating on them... one that the guts from the dragonflys that are out in full force around here right now takes right off.

I now have a spot about the size of a silver dollar on both lenses where the coating came off... and it is now hazed because I thought I was scrubbing bugs instead of bare acrylic.

So... I suppose I will be replacing my heads at some point in the future. I can't make up my mind what to go with. I sort of like the look of the smoked heads but don't know how much light output they will kill.

Of course, there are always the stock chrome, harley style and fx2 style as well. The gray fx2 style seem to be short on supply.

What say ye folks of ffs.com?

 

can't go wrong with harley heads man

 

I just don't know if those will go with the overall colors of the truck and the chrome bumper.

that's true.. my friend has them on his 05 with chrome bumpers and it does look odd
