which should i do?

thinking about buying a new(used) engine for the truck, im stuck between getting another 302 or going for a 351 , either way im gonna convert to carb and mildly build it (cam, intake, carb ect..) so which one should i go for? im sure i know the answer your gonna give but i figured is go ahead and ask

 

408 or 396 ftw lol (stroked 351)

haha its gonna be more along the line of a "budget build"

 

Lol 302 and I cud give u some part numbers of some factory ford heads that are good. That way its even cheaper.

what are you trying to accomplish, speed or torque?

 

both would be nice, also with converting to carb for the ign. should i go with a ignition box setup or a hei setup?

 

are you planning on lifting your truck and putting on bigger tires?

 

possibly just a leveling it out, probably sticking with 31s

 

302 cause there's a ton of aftermarket stuff for a 302
