Who all has a SCT X3?

axle code is H9 I looked it up n it said 3.55

O and at 60 im goin 64. I use the road work things

 

Any idea if 5star emails the tune? I need it asap cause I'm moving friday and wanna get a good 87 octane performance tune. And another question for the people that run 93. Do i need to run my tank all the way out then fill it or is it safe to fill it at 1/4 tank?

And I for some reason get worse mpg with shell gas. I ran shell gas to go to a few car shows saturday and I got a little less on 1/4 tank I usually get 109 or so on bp gas

 

Shell might be running more ethanol than BP.

Call & email Mike tomorrow. idk how long it'll take for him to get you tunes.

You need to run at least 1 full tank of 93 before running a 93 tune.

 

I emailed him and got a email saying he was out of office for a family emergency. I hope its nothing serious and everything is ok. I just bought a tune from another tuning site im gonna use it for a little while then get a 5star tune next.

 

Sleeper what the hell are you thinking? Ordering another tune from a different site ? Are you just begging to get your truck screwed. Idk what site you ordered off of but if you have a programmer SCT and you went to some random site and
Ordered a tune....they don't know the firmware of that programmer. Idk why the hell you need this tune so bad but you need to learn some common sense bro. That's like ordering a tune from 5star for my gryphon.

I wouldn't order any custom tunes until you at least get used to the tunes that are already on the tuner. Don't mess with anything you don't know about

I'm sure 5star is a top shelf tuner but they don't have the market cornered for tuning via an SCT tuner. These things are just a piece of hardware to deliver the code to the engine computer. All of them modify the exact same parameters. So long as they know the SCT tuner (and I'm sure they do or they wouldn't be able to write a tune that the thing would read) and they know what they are doing, he should be fine.
