He can do what he wants but if he bought the tuner @ 5star.....he needs to get his tunes done at 5star because if anything goes wrong with his truck...5star won't do anything for him and the people who he got the tune from may not do anything because he didn't buy the actual programmer from them so they can just say....user error.....just saying...
i beleive I told yall it was a friend. He used it on his 08 stang gt. I got a custom tune yesterday . And now im fuggin sick...... I would get sick when I gotta move friday

I didnt use 5star Cause it took too long for them to reply to my email on vmp's site you can order it and have the tune in 2 days.
You get hell because you post up asking advice on something you clearly don't understand which is perfectly acceptable. everyone gives you their .02 based on experience, then you do the opposite the discussion. Clearly based on your last truck your decisions on tuning and maintenance wasn't all that great. ^ if you used VMP then good for you. Why didn't you say so at the beginning? "A friend" tuned your last truck and it ran like crap.... just saying. You've got a record of poor choices to overcome
I searched and researched for 6 months before I purchased my tuner. Custom tunes are always the way to go, but you have to make sure they're a credible company because they are programming the computer that drives your truck. Any tiny fault can cause irreparable damage if you get a shatty tune from an unknown or un credible source. So forgive us for the concern based off the last tune you had. I don't know anything about either companies but I would have waited and got what everyone else has because it clearly works. Quick decisions come with quick mistakes.
