I don't see why. I don't even see that many of them out there. They have some neat Ideas, like the storage compartment under the bed, between the frame rails but other than that I just don't see any need for it. It doesn't even look good styling wise to me
That article is a joke. There's nothing wrong with the Ridgeline for certain people, but it's not even in the same ballgame as any American truck. First off the damn things a unibody design, secondly Honda's biggest motor is a V6. Honda refuses to build an 8 cylinder motor for mass production. The unibody and V6 alone knocks it out of the running for "toughest" truck. Articles like this is further proof that dummies that sit behind a desk have no business trying to figure out what the toughest trucks in America are. The writer probably owns a Honda Ridgeline...
the unibody is the reason thier crash tests are better. this kind of crap doesnt bother me. i dont care what the pencil pushers think, i kno i got a damn tough truck and i aint gonna be switchin to a honder just cuz they say its tougher btw bein cheaper, more fuel efficient, and havin better crash tests dont make it tougher
I'd like to see them hook a damn goose neck to the ridgeline. The thing is a fwd truck. If I hit one in my truck I'd destroy it! That article was a fail from the beginning.
My brother slid into a ridgeline the other day on the ice and theres 3100 dollars worth of damage on the honda, dents on the tailgate and bumper from his pushbar, while his truck got a crack in the plastic on top of the bumper, that doesn't say tough honda to me
