So ever since I Got my truck the back left door window won't roll down, when I press the button I sometimes hear the motor moving, so as opposed to taking this to ford and letting them charge me and arm and a leg to fix it, I'd like to get in there and look at it myself first, anyone seen a write up or how to to do this? I looked but couldn't find anything...
i can make a write up tomorrow on how to pull the door panel off if you want. if the window won't move at all then chances are the window assembly broke. I had to replace my passenger front window motor assembly and it was about $130 from Ford

no that's how much the part is. if the window motor is the problem than you can just swap motors out but in my case the whole window dropped because the assembly broke so that's the price of the window holder assembly w/ the motor. i installed it myself, it wasn't too hard. I'm assuming since you can hear the motor running but the window isn't than something in the assembly must have broken off. it's a common "04" problem.

yeah. sometimes i hate having an 04 haha. I don't think so. theres only one plug that plugs into the motor and theres no way it would have been disconnected
