    Look on the axle tag that's bolted onto the diff cover... If ya got the 5.4 I'm sure ya got the 9.75

    I do have the 5.4. Isnt the 9.75 the same size ring gear as a D60?

    The only way you don't have the 9.75 is if someone swapped it...

    Yes the 9.75 is comparable to the Dana 60... it has almost the same size carrier bearings yet the 9.75 has bigger pinion bearings, they have the same size ring gear yet the pinion shaft is bigger in diameter on the 9.75. the 9.75 has only one les spline on each axle shaft than the Dana 60 (9.75=34 D60=35) and the 9.75s axle shafts are 1.29 in diameter and the Danas are 1.36, a minuscule differene

    My 1960 Ford has a Dana 60 in er
