now, i dont know much about S/C's, but if they are like T/C, then what their capable HP is has no bearing on the engine's displacement. you have to match the displacement you are outputting to match w/ the SC/TC otherwise its spooling early/late. Now, I know SC's are belt driven, but just because the SC can handle what the engine is outputting, doesnt mean its the right setup. just speaking from TC experience.

 

If the turbos on the Ecoboost didn't have a bit of a lag, it would be well ahead of the 6.2 on take-off.
