I'll probably get in a couple DH and 4X races this year. You should try it.. the MSC series is pretty laid back and fun. Unfortunately some of the XC crowd is a little uptight but if you stay for the weekend, mingle and watch the different events you'll find it's really about having a good time riding bikes. Don't worry about having to hit the whole circuit unless you're trying to build series points or getting serious enough that you want to take it to a national level.
I'd like to try and race at least once, if not the whole series, it'll depend on what else is happening in my life. How about you?
Yeah, motorcycles are a lot of fun! I don't blame you for wanting to be careful. I've heard some good things about that bike too, I've never ridden a KTM or an enduro bike, but been wanting to. Keep me posted, I'd like to hear about what you get
Cool man! I kind of went the opposite way from you- started out racing motocross, then went to riding mtbs, did some xc racing last summer/fall.
i've tried hauling my bike like that before, but it scared me and i put it back in the bike rack i have in my bed. is there a trick to getting it to stay over the tailgate?
