Vht Niteshade lens tinting. Help?

    Where are the strobes at? Are they in the red part of the tailight or the clear part? If they're in the clear part then mask off that part and tint the red. Mine are tinted and I left the reverse (clear) light section clear with no tint. Looks cool in my opinion.

    yeah once this dang rain slacks off Some time this week or next week Ima do the niteshades and Ill do a write up. My dad was an auto mechanic and painter pretty much all his life, maybe he will help lol.

    Dude, if your old man is a painter then you should forget the VHT crap and get some tinted clear coat. That method leads to a much nicer finish overall.

    You can achieve a super glossy shine with minimal effort. I mean if you've got the resources to do it that way then hell yeah. :head3:

    ive got a ton left over in my can from doing my tails and 3rd brake light, and you can get the stuff off with goo gone graffiti remover ( so ive heard ) so try it, if you dont like it wipe it off..

    Im happy to say he is a very good painter, but I already have the niteshades and Im wantin to do most of it by myself and I suck at paintin but he is awesome

    If you have the real deal strobes like me then the nite shade won't affect them.
