82 f150 one owner changed thermostat & heat sensor-

changed thermostat w/192 degree thermostat. Engine has always run at first mark on temp gage of cold/normal mark. Now close to normal/hot. Have burped engine, have flushed engine. After flush normal.. Started with thermostat, heat sensor change. Also, burped radiator. It is a 5.0 liter V-8.

A 192 runs a good bit warmer than what was probably in there before, so the gauge sitting higher can be normal. As long as it holds steady and doesn't keep climbing I wouldn't worry, or go back to a 180 if it bugs you
